As WineKey expands, we’re hiring an early to mid-career Wine Programs Manager to support operations, client work, and strategic initiatives.
This is an ideal role for a motivated hospitality, operations or wine professional who is polished and wants hands-on experience across strategy, events, and client management — and who is looking to grow into a mid-level operator position over time.
Role Overview
The Wine Programs Manager will work directly with the Managing Director, with responsibility for managing projects, supporting client engagement, streamlining operations and driving day-to-day execution. This role blends strategic exposure with practical, hands-on work — ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality environments and wants accelerated career development.
Key Responsibilities
Wine Project & Client Support
Support wine program builds, tastings, vendor coordination, and event execution
Prepare client materials (presentations, wine lists, proposals)
Communicate with restaurant, hotel, and trade partners with professionalism and polish
Program Operations & Execution
Coordinate project timelines, client deliverables, and workflows to ensure smooth execution
Support operations workflows, reporting, budgeting, and internal systems
Contribute to the development of scalable organizational processes as the company grows
Marketing & Communications
Assist with social content, newsletters, website updates, and case studies including outreach for media bookings
Help organize events, tastings, and partnerships that build WineKey’s brand presence
Sales & Revenue Growth
Support outbound business development efforts through research, outreach preparation, and follow-up
Participate in introductory client conversations and assist in proposal development
Strategic Initiatives
Conduct research on industry trends and competitive landscape
Support the Founder with high-level projects, planning, and execution
Contribute ideas to improve operations, client experience, and scalability
Who You Are
2–5 years of experience in hospitality, wine, F&B operations, luxury service, events or related roles
CMS Certified, WSET level 3 or equivalent
Strong organizational and project management skills
An excellent communicator — polished writing, confident client and speaking presence
Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Canva
Average proficiency with Microsoft Suite, G-suite, photo & video editing
Interest in wine, hospitality, and long-term professional growth
Hybrid Job Details
Throughout year approximately 60% remote & 40% on site with clients, typically in Boston Metro area
Client work in Q1 is approximately 80% on-site, 20% remote
Greater Boston area location required
Candidate is required to have a location at their home office to take professional client and related calls in a quiet, clean and professional atmosphere
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $63,000–$75,000 depending on experience
